well i think the H&R coils are pretty comfortable (once i got them installed right now i just gotta fix this damn sway bar)l i would go with somethin that adjustable dampening if i where you, that way you could dial in your desirable ride comfort.

Switched from KSport Control Pro to Tein SS and now running KW Variant 2 Coilovers. KSsport is a Montube Design and spring rates are high, therefore shake your booty right, well maybe to much. The Tein SS with pillow ball were very nice compaired to KSport since they're a Twin Tube design, but the spring rates are still high, therefore a ruffer ride. KW V2 have one of the lowest spring rates on the market today and are a twin tube design, with dampening adjustable. I must say these are 1 of the most comfortable coilovers, along with providing great performance as well for AutoX. KW also provides a Lifetime Warranty and there tech/customer service is very good. I've heard that HKS have a comfortable ride as well, but have not tested these, since the discount structure for me isn't very good.... lol

KSport, Tein and KW V2 are great coilovers. You can always contact the manufacturer to see if they will make a lower spring rate for you. Usually manufacturers offer lower springs rates when requested. Comfort is always good, but with coilovers you will never retain the stock OEM ride quality, but you will gain nice handling. BTW, H&R you can't go wrong for the price and it's German Engineering. H&R are comfortable, from what I have heard. Japanese and German engineering is always the best.

Good luck with your choice.

Teins, you can send back your springs and request a different rate. TCpete got stiffer springs for his Basics.

Ok guys on the subject of coliovers. I am running a full TRD setup. However, now I am traveling for work and I have about 200lbs of equpment with my in the trunk. It lowers me about 3/4 of an inch more which isn't too bad but it is causing soem rubbing in the back fender wells.

Do you think if I go to a coilover with a stiffer spring rate I can alleviate this squat? Or anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

i belive you will have to check spring rates to get that answer, but yes most coilovers wont sag like that. hell i have the H&R coil overs and in class just to see if they where on right (lol) my friend and i (both weighing over 200) jumped in the trunk and jumped to see if there where any knocking sounds and nope no sounds and no sagging... so i hope that answers your question....
