Default So this guy told me I can't go any lower...

Okay so, I had these Megan Racing coilovers on my car for practically the whole summer. I finally got time to get the car lower because the guys that put them on, did not have scales and did not measure the ride height blah blah blah. Anyway, while I drive and turn my wheel, the springs turn and makes the popping noise. Uhhh.... I am assuming the ride height is uneven and it's making the springs turn when I turn? So I took it into the shop, the guy said the perches just need to be tightened (I already tried that). I asked him can I lower the car and can you guys make no more then 1 inch gap on all the wheel wells.

He told me no, because the Megan Racing Coils are a poor design and that is as low as I can go. And the 32 way adjustable 'thing' is just bullssssshhh..

Okay... If you look at the ___ of my car, the damn thing is on a slant and you are going to tell me it cannot go lower? Mind you, the wheel well gap in the rear measures ohh about 3.5 inches.

So my question to you is, can I lower my car with Megan Racing Coilovers? If so, how low can I go?(not trying to 'slam' my car)

If you got these from my friend, then the shop was right. The fronts go low, but the rears are stupid. You're actually going to have to call Megan and get shorter springs for the rear.

A good shop will also warn you when you're doing something that is potentially damaging to your car..
