So currently im dropped on h-techs. I love the front drop but honestly the rear is lacking. So i want something thatll drop the rear more without affecting the front too much. So i came across goldlines(2in all around)...
now the problem is im gonna be buying rims soon and im looking at 18x8 front and 18x9 rear with a 35 offset. Now i know im gonna rub but i want to minimize the rubbing as much as possible...
So what do you guys think of the drop and wheel combo? I love that slammed look. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

uh...if you KNOW itll rub and you dont want to rub, then why are you going to get the springs?
just stick with your h-techs and it wont rub. plus with bigger wheels, the gap will be minimized anyways.

Front looks good but the rear doesnt look low enough. And i like the look of wider wheels in the back....rolling the rears are a must. What about the fronts? Will not having the fender liner interfere with a CAI? I shudnt betoo bad shud i?
The front shouldn't rub. Depends on the size of tire you want to run. Like a 225/40 wouldn't rub too badly. Only on big bumps and stuff. You could just trim the liner a bit where it rubs and not have to take it out.
i rub on the front whileee on the free way or dips on the road, or making right or left turns to fast haha
with the new tires ive never rubbed on the back, but so far ive only had a total of 4 people in the car with me and the two that were in that back were 115lb asian girls haha
i never rubbed when i had 215/45/17 which is the stock size

well im start out by saying i dont know much about this stuff so dont quote me on anything haha buttt from what i have gathered about lowering and rims and stuff. i wouldnt try and do that.
on mine i have the stock 17x7 and i think someone said the offset is 45 nd with my drop which is 1.97 in the rear. when i have people in the car it drops lower and there is about a finger gap between the finder and the tire.
so my guess is with a 18x9 tire and a 35 offset its gonna hit the fender and mess it up because its gonna sit pretty flush.
i think your best bet is to get coilovers before you get thos rims because theyre alot stiffer and youd have a better chance of not rubbing.
or you might be able to get your fenders rolled and be fine
thats my guess

the lower the offset the more they stick out

So i started wanting goldlines and after reading a lot more stuff im leaning towards coils. Would having a higher offest allow me to go lower? Lets say 45.
Dont want anything too crazy in the coils just the flexibility to adjust the height. I know myself and ina couple months ill want to go lower.

As long as you roll your fenders, lowering 2 inches will result in rubbing on big bumps and when you have a lot of weight in the car. I was dumped on coils with 18x8 +30 front and 18x9 +35 rear and will rolled fenders, I was able to clear the fender enough to have 4 people in my car
