ok i got some tien springs and im puttin them on my car
my parents are being all ___ and say they are goin to void my extended warranty, so can some one plz verify that it is not gonna void my warranty, i mean i know its gonna void the springs and shocks warranty but not ever thing

no aftermarket part will void your warrenty unless it undoubtedly causes a problem with your car.

I don't know what else to tell you.

I also don't know why it would be of any concern to your parents unless they are the ones who purchased the car. I wouldn't call them "___", they are just misinformed so teach them about the warranty and how it works.

Either have them call the dealer about the warranty or show them one of the million posts on this topic.

 

Considering you can buy the car right off the dealer floor already lowered. I don't see how your parents can say no.

 

yeah well i owe them alot of money and the car is in my dads name but i mean still they think that i cant do anything to the car with out it voiding the warranty,

If the springs were to cause a problem, that problem alone would not be covered by your warranty. In fact, the extended warranties we sell even cover the aftermarket parts we install before the sale. We sell Tien, Eibach, TRD and Gold-Line off our menu here at the dealer I work for.

If what your parents fear was true there would be HUNDREDS of threads about it on SL.

i dont even think your extended warranty cover shocks alone, they will blow eventually so i dont think they are covered, but yeah back to the main point no, shocks will not void your warranty.

 

i dont need to print it i just need to show them when i get off work, i mean i could see that they would be mad at me if i bought them but my gf bought them for me

Just show it to them and hopefully they'll get off your back.

yeah my mom also has that problem with borrowing my car too cuz she hates her pt cruiser
