Spring install?
So is there anything special to swapping out springs it mostly consists of removing the struts then swapping the springs out. Is there any specail i need besides spring compressors. Just curios i have an 07 just purchased hotchkis springs (good ebay deal). I searched and couldn't find any threads actaully showing an install. Any advice or links would be awesoem thanks.

its not really that hard u wont even need the compressor for the front springs, but the best thing i guess would be the xb spring installation on the tech section, basiacally the same thing

When you remove the rear struts, before you remove the springs, get some masking tape and basically mark the top and the bottom so you know how it lines up when putting it back together. It makes it easier. Aside from that, spring compressor, breaker bar, jack and jack stands, and you're good.

A breaker bar is an extension to your existing socket or wrench to give you more leverage. You can theoretically compress the spring down to undo the factory springs, but it's not recommended because it's under a lot of tension, and if you slip, the spring can fire out of the strut and do some damage to you. It's also very difficult. You can go to your local Autozone or Advance and borrow one there for free with a small deposit. Same thing with the breaker bar.

My friend did mine last night for me, took about 2 hours total. Front and back took about the same time, I took out the interior in the back while he worked on the fronts to speed up the process. We went to his shop where he works as a mechanic and used a lift. Since my car is fairly new a breaker bar wasn't need to loosen the bolts. Like the others said, spring compressors are practically a must when it comes to tightening down the nut on top of the strut. My car rides just about as smooth as it did with the stock springs. I'm loving it! Rear sway bar is next!
