Default spring making a creaking noise

I just lowered my tc about 2 weeks ago, the drop is great. I am using the progress technology springs, about 1.8" drop. One of my springs however is making a creaking noise when i go over bumps slowly. I've determined it is my rear passenger spring. I took a look under the car and noticed the spring needs to be turned a few inches to the right, because the bottom is not settled into the little groove. Is there a way i can turn this without taking the whole strut out again?

If the spring is not seated properly, take out the strut and fix it.

I checked that and it seems nothing is loose, its more of a creaking sound so i definately know it has to be the spring. The lil groove that the end of the spring is supposed to settle against is a couple inches away, and i think thats what is making the spring creak.
