Default Spring Question

So I finally started working to eventually get some stuff for my 08 BSP. I know everyone always say the first thing you should do for tC is to drop it. I will soon save up 200$ and be able to get a set of spring but I don't really know which to get. Please take into consideration that eventually I plan to get some rims that'll fit with the stock wheels. Now from what I read the stock for scion wheels are 17x7.0x40 and from this thread right here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=101733, it says a Tien S-Tech will not cause rubbing. However, I plan to get Tien H-Tech Spring. My question to all you vets out there is, will getting Tien H-Tech cause rubbing? Also when it says no rubbing do you guys mean no rubbing at all or that no rubbing normally on flat roads with slope/bumps excluding? I know the stat for Tien H-Tech is -1.9R -1.5F do you guys think it is a noticeable but PRACTICAL drop? I'm not into racing or anything just trying to make my car a little bit more spiffy.

Also what are the opinions on Tanabe NF210? The overview says they're for luxury cars.... how is that so?

What about Hotchkis?

Please no TRD, I read on the forum that the drop is really not noticable and thus not really worth it but correct me if I am wrong.

Also which one of these will be most friendly to the stock shock? TRD excluded although everyone says its the most friendly to shock.

i have a TRD drop and i think it is definitely noticeable as long as you get the red springs and no the white, but h-techs drop less than s-techs so you should have no rubbing problems with those. Do a quick spring search and you can see which drop you like. Its all personal preference .

Offset for stock wheel is +45. Since you're not interested in TRDs, stick with H-Techs. You shouldn't have many (if any) issues.
Also; if you upgrade to 18s later, stick with a +35 offset if you want it flush. (+45 if you want the sunk in look.)
You still shouldn't have issues with H-Techs with 18s.

Well the thing is, I think the stance of H-Tech would be the best since its more of a tilted aggressive stance.

Edit - so the stock wheels are 17x7.0x45, and getting H-Tech would be a no problem right? I am not planning to get 18', Just 17' rims that'll work with my stock wheels so i don't have to get new ones. College students are poor

A question i had along with the look is how these springs and spacers affect the ride quality of the car meaning, what do you lose out on after you get these(springs/shocks) mods done? example... stiffer ride, loss of high speed turns, what? 2cents.....

Last time I checked, the reds and the whites were the same drop, just a different color.

yea, I didn't think there was a difference between TRD whites and reds.

Yeh I actually thought about Progress Springs, although I don't know much about it except that the setting for it is around where I want. A subtle noticeable drop that wouldn't rub with stock wheels at 17x7.5
