You'll need a torque bar to do it right (want to make sure the bolts are torqued to spec) and a set of strut spring compressors (rent them from Autozone with their loaner tool system ....same with the torque bar).

Use this site ... http://www.club-tc.com/forums/suspension/.....I used this and it took me (alone) about 5 hours (with .5 hours clean up) taking my time to make sure things are done right.

I have a floor jack, jackstands, electric impact gun (240 ft/lb), and a 90 piece craftsman set. You don't NEED all that, but it's stuff I have that I used.

Hope that helps.

im sure theres plenty of peeps in FL to lend a helping hand? post up in the regional forum to see who pops up? Im sure they'll help. I didnt trust myself to do this so i let a shop do it. From the looks of it, its not hard just have to know what your doing and what you need. You can download some instructions here....

PDF file!

this is for Hotchkis springs, but it doesnt matter?

^GREAT instructions.....they show you all the bolt sizes ......Makes it a bit easier.

Yeah, it's best if you have some idea of suspension work behind you before you try this or at LEAST have 1-2 people with you that know.

the install isnt that bad... first spring is the hardest... once you get that the others come easy... theres some little things that might get in the way but that always happens when modding your car...
