Squeaking noises
Alright, so it's been about 2 years i've had my B&G's slammed. Now, i start to hear squeaking noises and it's annoying the hell out of me. I have no idea where to get spring lube to lube the springs so i can't tell what the sound is coming from. When i go over a bump, it squeaks, when i turn it squeaks, when i go slowly over a bump, it squeaks!! help
right now, i'm just trying to find out all the possibilities of what it could be. I know a lot of people out there have a similar problem but don't post. I've searched a past thread, but it never showed a direct problem.

My B&G make some type of noise when going over bumps, dont know if its the tires or tires rubbing. I did hear some squeaking when going over bumps and turning. Later found out that the squeak was coming from the seat belt buckle lol. Spray some wb40 on the springs and see if the noise goes away.

i have mine lowered on trds with stock shocks BUT mine does the same damn squeak... it turns out its the bushings on my stock sway bar...i sprayed the hell out of em and after a little while no more squeak!

Squeeking is usually the compressed coils of the spring. Jack up the car and wrap the coils that touch when it's down with some black electrical tape and see if that stops it. My B&Gs don't squeek yet but they only have about 3K miles on em

In my experience its always been the springs. My HKS Hypermax coils on my xB did it hardcore until I tried the tape method. It's like when lowering springs come with those plastic covers where the dead coils usually are.

lol alright.. i haven't posted on here in a while.. but i just picked up some PBblaster and sprayed the the rear sway bar bushings and the sound went away.. it still squeaked a little, but it's VERY little.
now, the front squeaks and there's a thumping noise in the back everytime i hit a tiny little bump..
