Stock struts w/ Tein S-Tech
Yes, I searched... and came up more with reliabilty issues rather than the question I'd like to ask. I already know the stock struts will go bad faster, took my Grand Am about 20k miles after the drop was installed for them to fail.
Now my question is, obviously the stock suspension is pretty soft, are the stock struts going to have enough for for rebound and all of that? I was warned by a freind of mine who is a mechanic, that the ride will be more bouncy (read: not more harsh, but more bouncy) with the S-techs and stock struts that it was previously.
I was expecting a rougher ride, as thats how my last car was with a 1.75" drop, but in my last car it handled just like the guys with the KYBs.
That all sort of rambled together, essentially I am asking, with the S-techs, and stock struts, and Im going to handle any differently (and worse) than a car with aftermarket struts, ADJUSTABILITY ASIDE.
Thanks!
