Default What Struts For Tein Springs?

Hey, Right now i'm trying to decide between Tein Basic coils or Tein S-techs but i'm not sure what decent struts are available, I'm a 5 year honda enthusiast that is converting over. So obviously I seek comfort in Tein, but I haven't seen Koni's or AGX's available. As far as aftermarket struts what are you people using on your Tein springs?

If nothing good is available I'll just get the full coil setup.

And if you've rode on the basic coils how harsh is the ride? Since there's only one level of damper.

Oh boy, I've been looking for answers to the same question. Though I'm only getting started in modding, most my friends who have been into this are telling me coilovers. I just don't want to make the ride too harsh.

From what I've been reading though, a lot of the basic set ups claim to offer performance while still maintaining "maximum ride comfort." Prices on springs and a good set of struts to go with them seem pretty high so I'm thinking basic coilovers from either Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C (out soon) or Tein. Does anyone else out there have coilovers on the our beloved tC yet?

Tein coils own on every other application I've used/rode in them on. I don't see how they'd be any exception on a tC.

My only thing was if there was a decent aftermarket strut to match the Tein springs with, i'm sure i'll just end up getting the coils though.

I have a set of Tein Flex's on my car - and they are pretty damn amazing. Tein has a set coming out very soon - it'll be worth the 800 or so.

in regards to shocks/struts (adjustables) only kyb reponsed saying that will have them out for the 06 model!!!!

ya sucks.

so either stick with blown shocks with ur aftermarket springs for a while or get the TEIN basics or SS
