Default StopTech BBK finally installed! Pics on PG 4

I just bought a front BBK for my tC and will be installing it on Thursday...just waiting for some 5mm H&R spacers to come in. I will post install pics as well as well as my opinions on how the car feels after install. Heres some pics of the kit as delivered in the boxes and separately:

Packaging:

328x28mm Slotted AeroRotors:

4 Piston Black Calipers:

Brackets:

And the whole kit next to my Scion key to give an idea of scale:

The kit also include front stainless steel lines, Axxis Ultimate brake pads, instructions and stickers. I also bought some rear lines and 3 bottles of Motul RBF600 brake fluid to replace all of the fluid in the car.

We will be going out to Streets of Willow this Friday so I will be able to get a good idea of how the kit works on the track. I will be running Ferodo DS 2500 pads for the track and the Axxis Utimates on the street. I will take video at the track and will hopefully get some in car stuff if we can rig up a good cam mount. I will be using the stock tires this time but will soon be upgrading to some Falken Azenis RT-615 which will really show off what the brakes are capable of.

Stay tuned for lots of install pics including comparison pics vs stock and final install behind stock wheels.

I love mine. Which brake pads are you going to run? Is this your daily driver?

Bastard!! (Just playin') That was on my Xmas list! Seriously, congrats on your purchase! Can't wait to see how they look on the tC. I might just have to quit buying Jordans for a while and save up for a BBK! Unless Santa brings me one! Do you need spacers in order to install BBK? (For future reference.) Keep us posted!

Our data shows that it needs a 5mm spacer to clear the stock wheels. Ill see if its really needed when I do the install.

So I see you got them because you work for them. Are they selling them to the public yet?

They have been available to the public since before the tC even came out. It is the same kit as the Celica GT-S which has been out for years.
