Default Strut Bar and Engine Torque Damper

I've seen multiple posts about being able to put the strut bar over an engine torque damper brace, but has anyone done the opposite? I'm installing both tomorrow and the brace for the ETD fits over the strut bar, so why not do it that way? Anyone do this, anyone have problems with it?

search, but whatever, you already made a thread. what strut bar do you have? i believe the only one that won't work w/ an etd is the trd.

I have the Tanabe. It looks like the bracket for the ETD can fit right on top of the strut bar brace.

keeps the engine from bobbling around, b/c if there's too much engine movement, you lose power to the ground and can be bad for your axle that has to support it in the long run.

not really support the motor with a jack and a piece of board ... by the oil pan or in the center part of the motor ... it is cake .... replace the sides and then do the front one ...and ENJOY DOING THE REAR ONE! lol but seriously ...its not that hard if you dont know what your doing it should take around 2 hours ...if you know what your doing like 15-20 minutes for each one

Try it. The worst that could possibly happen is that it won't install right.

Sorry, I haven't been on here in forever! I did put the ETD brace on top of my Tanabe strut bar brace. It did fit the screws. It was close, but the threads fit. There are no threads showing on the nut but it's been a few months now (over 5) and there has been no looseness of the nuts. All is well.[/quote]
