tein or b&g
whats the difference between...TEIN and B&G coilovers??..which is smoother? more enjoyable to drive...what brand is least likely to feel all the bumps,cracks,bs like that...what suspension do u prefer?????
I cant really give you any info on B&G coilovers, but I have the TEIN basic damper set on my tC, and I couldnt be any happier. IMO it has the perfect amount of stiffness for daily driving. You will deffinetly feel the road more, but as long as you stay away from the really f*d up roads you'll be alright.
I don't understand...why "upgrade" the suspension when you don't want to stray too far away from stock ride quality?
You are asking which brand of stiffer suspension is the softest?
Why even bother?
I'm going to recommend you head down to your local auto parts store and buy a set of KYB GR-2s or something from Monroe or Rancho...that way you can have the same ride as stock but you get the "brand name upgrade."

Maybe I didn't use the right words to express my thoughts and opinions.
I do apologize to you and the OP if I was a bit blunt.
Let me reword my post...
Why spend the dough on coilovers when you are concerned about a smooth ride?
I'm assuming you want to lower the car...a lowered car will almost always have a harsher ride compared to stock height.
If you're never going to take full advantage of coilovers, save some money; just buy some springs and an proper alignment. Possibly a camber kit too depending on how low you go.
And it helps if you tell us what your goal for the car is.
Every member here has his/her own preferences when it comes to...well, just about anything.
It's guaranteed you'll always get different opinions.
Some like their cars to ride on rails; some just want the aggressive look of a lowered car without giving up ride quality.
Cheers =P
PS I bet all of you were getting ready to witness some sort of internet gangsta showdown huh? lol
