Tein basic coilovers + hotchkis front sway = bad?
Hey guys, I ordered tein basics, ingalls engine damper, and soon the hotchkis front and read sway bar set, But i have been reading alot about how first, the front sway bar has alot of issues with installation and second that if you have tien coilovers that it really screws up everything if you want to mount the front sway bar. Are these real issues, if so how can they be fixed / should i wait till hotchkis comes out with a new design for the front sway bar then buy it? Thanks for info and comments
i think most of the problem is overlowering. if you want to lower your car more than about 1.5" i wouldn't personally put the hotchkis front sway on. i went through a bad experience with my 05 corolla which is the same front end design. and the end links were to long with my 2.5" drop (tein). they pushed my hotchkis front sway down onto my tie rods and the car never was the same. but before the hotchkis everything was great.
