Good thread guys, I'm in the market. Is it true that the H-Tech springs can be used with the stock struts? And I don't mean "can" as in "sure but it'll mess things up but it's possible," I mean "can" as in "can with no negative results."

Heh. Thanks ahead of time.

what i was told is that yes you can use H-Techs w/ stock struts ... but eventually you may need to replace them .. not sure if they are 100% safe ... but im just goin on what ive heard .. maybe there will be no problem .. im hoping ..

With ANY lowered spring over 1.25 drop (TRD) you will wear out the stock shocks qicker. Even with TRD, the shocks will wear out quicker, but the ride won't be comprimised as much. With the bigger drops, like 2" or so, the shocks dont' have enough room to travel fully, so you could get bounce on unlevel roads.

what about camber adjustments? Has anyone with these drops noticed a big difference in their camber? Or is there no dramatic change enough to have uneven tire wear?

I notice some with the TRDs, but not enought to warrant a camber adjustment kit. I'm not sure about the bigger drops.
Deffinately get an allignment, though.
