wow, thats kinda big wheel gap ... I have H-Techs too and mine settled nicely. I have a perfectly even two fingers all the way around (I have an avg sized single 10 sub box in the rear).

 

Maybe hes low on gas or something...

 

Did anyone with h-techs have to cut the bumpstops?

 

what has a bigger drop...stechs or htechs?

 

S-Tech is a larger drop, 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear I believe.

 

i dont get why the stechs would be cheaper....soemthing wrong with them or osmething haha....which do you think is safer on stock shocks?

 

yeah i just installed my h-techs. they had about the same wheel gap in those pictures, but they have settelled quite nicely, the rear is perfect and the front is just how i wanted. a little lower than trd. Ill take pics today.

 

Eibach or Htech? opinions?....Eibach seems a little overpriced, but someone suggested them...didnt kno if anyone had them or had any experience with them on a tC

you would figure that the h-tech, with it not compressing the strut as much would mean that it would make the strut from blowing out for a little longer time. But sometimes they just blow... i think i will be goind with the H-techs...

can someone post some h-tech with 18's?

i think im gonna be different i think im gonna go with the Eibachs...Sportline springs...2" drop front and back

 

My springs have settled quite nicely! I've got a 2 finger gap in the rear and a finger and a half in the front. I'll post pics in the next day or two!

 

s techs 2.4 in front 1.9 in back.. a way to install them cheap is to buy a $40 spring compressor and do it yourself

So I've been thinking, and anyone looking to buy a set of tein h-techs? They've settled nice (only about 500 miles on 'em), but I want it a tiny bit lower all the way around. So I think I'm gonna buy some s-techs! If anyones interested in buying h-techs let me know, $140.00! Cheaper than anywhere else I've found! Or maybe if someone has s-techs but wants h-techs... and maybe trade? p.m. me if you're interested!

 

Are you not satisfied with your springs? I think you just got it installed a month ago.

 

Yea I put em in just about a month ago, but I want it a little lower, the h techs are not quite low enough. Especially since I'm gonna keep riding my stockers (just powder coating them) I need a lower springm and the .5 inch difference the s-techs offer I think will be perfect!

 

If nobody wants to buy or trade those springs (I know this is dumb) just cut those H-Techs. Maybe one coil around on the lower end.

 

Its a possibility, but I'm not big on cutting springs, or heating or any other short cut, they aren't difficult to change, I'd have to pull em out to cut em, so I might as well just replace em! Know what I'm sayin?
