Default tein s-tech installation question

quick question.. for the installation of the rear springs of the tein s-techs, do the foam bumper stops need to be cut? because i installed it, didn't cut it.. and my rears look high compared to the other tc's with tein s-techs on this forum.

I cut my foam/rubber stoppers about an inch when I installed my TRDs, so you're probably supposed to do the same for stechs.

would cutting the foam bump stoppers change the height of the car at all? or its more of a comfort option?

yeah, the shop i went to get my tein s-techs installed at didn't cut the bump stops.. but everything seems ok.. i dont bottom out, no weird noise (except the squeaking from the rear sway bar), no clunking, nothing out of the ordinary..

Some of the companies (Progress I know of for sure) say in the "destructions" to cut the bump stops. I have not seen the instructions for the Teins so I can't say about them.

I stand corrected about what I said earlier, I meant you should always keep them in there, Tein H. Tech tell you to cut them down 1/2" on the fronts. Just never remove them completely

Im looking at the instructions for the s-techs right here and it says you are supposed to cut 1.2 inch off the front and nothing off the rear. When I put mine on I didnt cut it. Its only been a week but I havent noticed any negative effects.
