Default Tein SS-P damper settings

For those who have the Tein SS, what do you set the damping at for Track/ Street/ Cruising.

I just got the SS w/ the pillowball mounts and EDFC and I was wondering if there are any suggestions as to what the "best" settings are. I understand that "best" all depends on the individual, but suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

- Dante

I have mine set to 5 in front and 14 in the rear. I have it so stiff in the back to keep it from being bouncy.

I think it rides great and handles like a dream

also thats in 16 setting mode

14? thats kinda soft, higher the number = more stiff.

it only goes to 16. unless 1 is the stiffist but since the + sign makes the number go up i would think it is stiffer.

On the EDFC, the higher the number, the softer the setting... i.e. 16 = softest and 0 = hardest.

I don't have this setup but am very interested in getting these coilovers. I have the Tein H-Techs right now, but would like to have control over the settings.

Do these come completely built and ready to just bolt in? I changed my springs springs myself and it was a pain in the butt.

Sorry, don't mean to steal your thread, but I was just curious.

they bolt right in. if you want the EDFC there is a minimal amt of assembly required.

That's pretty funny actually. I was trying to figure out why your car felt so stiff compared to mine. I thought it was the spring rate, but it was probably just the dampening.

Your car felt really uncomfortable, but I didn't want to say anything.
