Default Tein STech vs Eibach Springs

Fellow TC owners,

I'm trying to decide whether to go with Tein or Eibach for lowering my car.

Which spring offers the most comfort? The most durability?

From what I've gathered, it seems that the Tein springs bottoms out more and is more harsh on the shocks.

I'd like to hear your two cents. Thanks!

i just took my s-techs off today.. for the reason that they are the worst ride you will ever experience. I felt like i didn't even have a suspension. But I rode them for 5 years.

They sure do slam the ____ outta the car tho. my front tire was up inside the fender and the rear tire was absolute zero gap.

I'm on sportlines for 25k and I still love them and they ride great just make sure after the install have a buddy ride shotgun to balance weight in the car to make sure the springs level even. Then a full alignment

What kind of warranty does Tein offer?

Eibach offers a million mile warranty AND they will actually say their could are designed to work with factory dampers.

I'm not sure which Eibach springs you're interested in but I've had the Pro-Kit springs with KYB GR2 shock/struts for about 12,000 miles now and I'm happy with them. The ride quality isn't too bad as long as you stay off crap roads.

Eibach is noted for thier ride quality. Some complain because it's too friendly, but personally if your roads are like ours here, then Eibach is the choice. We usually stock Eibach too.
