Default Think it will Rub?

My current setup is 225/40R/18 on 18 X 7.5 rims with a 35mm offset on TRD's. Everything of course is perfect with no trouble but I caught the fever for the slammed look and purchased a set of S-Tech's.

I tried using the search function and found a little bit of everything from ppl on s-tech's. Running everything from 17's to 19's but nothing specific with the 35mm offset.

Do you guys think it will rub once settled? Will I have to roll the fenders? Or even have to purchase camber kit as well? I'd just like to get some thoughts before beginning to take the car apart.

I think the rear you might need a camber kit.

I'm wary of s-techs because I know a couple of people that have blown their stock shocks with those.

As far as rubbing.... you might get lucky.

But not so sure, might need to roll the front fenders.

True...i was thinking at worst (hopefully) I can play around with the inner plastic liner on the front fenders and get by. I just didn't realize all the other expenses that could come around the corner with this change but will cross my fingers. Think I'll take the day to think about it some more

I dunno if this will help you much.. but im running on 18x8 wheels with a 35mm offset.. with 245/40/18 in the front.. and it rubs slighty.. and you def have to roll the fenders for the back.. i had no option for the scion camp out.. so i had to run 225/35/18 tires in the back.. pretty crazy but you can barely tell the difference.. lol.. i think you'll be fine with that setup..

EDIT: I'm also slammed on Hotchkis springs and TRD shocks... 2 inches.. and with a full heavy trunk setup..

Thanks..I actually pulled the trigger and installed the s-techs this past weekend..will try to get pics up soon but lost my camera..everything fits perfect I think w/ 18 X 8 I would be rubbing but 7.5 is cool.

As far as the s-techs ride I find these springs only a little more stiffer than when I had my TRD's. I really can't tell a dramatic difference (I don't autox or anything though). My only complaint is I scrape on some dips in the road.
