best bang for your buck would probably be the S-techs. but from what i heard, there is a slight rub on them with 18s. performance wise i would pick the TRD. but best drop w/o the rub would be the htechs. i switched from TRD to Htechs cuz i hated the stance with the TRD. it had the nose so far up, it looked retarded. so i went with htechs and i haven't regret them. i'm at a 1 1/2 finger gap in the front and a snug 2 finger gap in the rear. on my TRD's i was at at least a 2 1/2 finger in the front and a 2 in the back. but its all driver preference so i went for looks rather than performance.

i love my stechs. I have had no rubbing issues with 18inch wheels. I switched from trds' to stechs. TRD's dont even look like you have lowered it.

I've had stock, TRD, and STechs. And for something I would drive everyday the TRD's look o.k. but for the really dropped look nothing beats the stechs.

i'm looking for a minimal drop because i'm considering 19x8.5 (35mm) so i'll probably opt for the TRDs.

there is no loss in quality with the TRD over the others mentioned and I don't care for styling or look.

cool thread.

yeah you can hardly tell the car is dropped with TRD springs.. they are great for DDing. just get a set of 18's and it will look good.

Some of you guys are crazy. I know S Techs are all the rage being that you're practically slammed... but you're screwing yourself so hard on performance. They're TOO low in that respect.

The H Techs aren't as bad... but if you want a decent ride and a little better performance, stick with the TRD or H&R Sport. No they're not slammed and dragging on the ground.... but is that really necessary?

And whoever said that your nose will be in the air with the TRDs is insane. Have you ever even SEEN the TRD drop?
