tien stec vs htec vs trd
i just got my TRD springs installed today, took 8hours to do! ! woohoo! my front does seem alittle higher but my rear tires are bigger then front tires, if i had same size tires i would say trd springs are an even drop.
18's would fit perfectly around the fenders with trds, those h+s techs can tuck nicely but you need better suspension=more cash.

that is the cleanest most perfect drop i have ever seen in my entire life. is that on stock suspention? i have tork revo 18.8 with a +35 offset i think i might rub? i dont wanna roll my fenders!;-(

Yes it is stock suspension. It isnt low enough for me, so i bought coilovers haha. With 18's it will look real good and you wont rub.
i have the trd drop i have to say its perfect for me. i have 18 in rims and i autocross ive rubbed pretty hard on the plastic lining stuff i wouldnt recommend going lower for anyone doing autocross might rip all that plastic our of there!
trd drop is kinda uneven. htec is like the fronts a little lower than back just has a cleann a*s look. but i do race around a little. so ill get a rear sway bar and strut brace to prevent all that wobble so it dont rip or rub anything
I have the hotchkis swaYs that won't prevent any rubbing....I'm just saying going lower than trd with out going stiffer is a bad idea. But yea If all u care about is looks stechs r nice.

The H Techs aren't as bad... but if you want a decent ride and a little better performance, stick with the TRD or H&R Sport. No they're not slammed and dragging on the ground.... but is that really necessary?
And whoever said that your nose will be in the air with the TRDs is insane. Have you ever even SEEN the TRD drop?

imo the TRD springs are a COMPLETE waste of money, they barely change the appearance of the car and the car still looks aweful if you stick with 17s which a lot of people do, i mean its nice if youre absolutely scared to drop your car but its a waste of money IMO
the H&R springs are nice and i agree if you want to improve your handling dont get s-tech.... sht if you want to improve your handling springs arent even gonna really help on their own.
coil overs + corner balancing + proper sway bars + custom alignment = better handling =/= springs
and if i do rub whats that gonna hurt? not the paint right? and im not worried about rubbing that much turning i only do a little autocross with my friends in parking lots and ____
