Default Tokico HP + HTechs OR Cheap Coilovers (Rokkor or RL)

I have done some research, and I am fairly certain that I know what I want, just looking to see if anyone has any last bit of information that care to share.

I had a new set of KYB GR2's but sold them, and I hadn't settled on springs just yet.

I am in need of new shocks, and I think I have settled on the Tokico HP's. I found them on eBay for $305 shipped to my door from a respectable seller. That plus $180 for the HTechs of course.

Would this be a better setup than say, a cheap pair of coilovers. I DD my car for work, and I live in Brooklyn (where the streets are horrendous). I don't want to slam it, I just want better handling and less wheel gap.

Your thoughts?

Default Tokicos and Htechs

I've had my car on this set up for about 1 1/2 to 2 years. The ride is a lil stiff, but the car handles nicely. Make sure to send in the registration card for the Tokicos Limited lifetime warranty. A tech at the wheel alignment shop I use said my front passenger side is weak. I never sent in the card so...
Overall I've been happy with this setup tho. I had the car setup with Tokicos and Sprints before this, that was awesome!! The sprints started sagging quickly and the car was just too low, but the ride was really sweet.

You can get the springs used and save money. If you just DD the car, coils aren't necessary so save the money.

That is a pretty good deal for the shocks though, correct?

I'm rocking TRD shocks with Tien H-Techs with a TRD rear sway bar and the car drives so much better than stock. The ride isn't bouncy and the car isn't too low for me to constantly have to worry about crappy roads and such.
