Default Tools required for spring swap..

Putting on my Hotchkis springs tomorrow.. what tools do I need ready for the complete install? Thanks.

car jack, socket wrench (i forgot the size), spring compressor.

bunch of socket sizes actually...

you don't have to remove the plastic cowl like those instructions state though.
i highly suggest having a friend who's done it before help if you've never done this before.

Torque wrench that goes up to 200 ft-lb.

And touch-up paint ... for when you scratch your springs & struts. (Or is that just me? lol)

Is there no allen wrench needed for the strut tops? I'm used to seeing them on every other strut tops i've seen.. hmm.

This is the only guide you will need. It includes all the tools required and the tork specs. This on a scale of 10 in terms of difficulty is around a 7. I also strongly recommend the help of someone who has done this before. If not you will have your car on block for a week.
BTW don't use a cheap set of spring compressors! You and your body will regret it!

yes. you'll need them for the rear struts.
