Default very squishy brakes

So last night i was driving home and as i was getting off the free way, I went to push my brakes. and i literaly had push the pedal all the way down to floor to get any braking. First i thought i didnt have brake fluid, but its still full. Secondly i thought i busted a line. but they're still ok.
I was just wondering if this has happen to anyone?
thanks guys.

if you had high speed braking episode earlier, you may have burned the brake fluid, in which case you need to bleed the brakes.

^ That's one option. Other option is if you left your foot on the brake pedal at all and "cooked" the brakes, you could have gotten them a bit hot before you tried to brake and then experienced a bit of brake fade when trying to actually stop.

You would be hearing/feeling that one. Trust me, I get it all of the time in autox.

If you changed your brakes a month ago, what did you change? Just pads? Maybe try to bleed the lines and see if that helps.

mines been like that for years now. brake pedal seems to be almost all the way down, i bled the brakes thinking it was an air pocket bc i pumped the brakes at a complete stop and i heard air but nope no air pockets when bleeding them, changed my rotors and pads and that wasnt the case either. i still have no clue what it can be im thinkin it could be a master cylinder or sumthing to do with the ABS module thingy but besides that my brakes are fine jus very squishy and very low
