Default WFT Shutter?

Hey guys I can't find what I am looking for so I will ask as a fresh topic. Ifsomeone has addressed this prior can they point me in the right direction.

When I am at a standstill in my tC and turn the wheel either direction I get an obnoxious shuttering eminating from the front end up through my steering column. Anyone else have this issue?

I dunno. They are the stock tires. I was curious if anyone else has the issue as well?

Yeah I have the same issue. It feels as if the power-steering fluid isn't going through or something.

Yeah it's weird. I tried to duplicate prob at the dealer but of course it wouldn't do it. I think it was because their driveways are click concrete. It happens on surfaces with pretty good contact.

.... ^^ it's the tires then....

wouldn't you figure?

i'm gonna go on a limb and say everyone has that issue.. that's why we don't do it.
if it's obnoxious.. then stop it..

it's like you having a bruise and whenever you poke it, it hurts... and then ask us hey... does it hurt if you poke a bruise? cause yeah.. i'm poking and it hurts.....

wow.......

my tC does it too! as well as my truck and my moms car and my dads truck and my brothers car and my grandparents truck and my aunts car and my cousins car

it what tires do when they are rubbing up against the road or driveway and holding up the wieght of the vehicle.

Ok guys, funny repsonses. This is not the typical tire scrub noise on the concrete. I have owend over 20 cars and none do it like this. It is a shudder that literally shakes the steering collumn.

well then.........
i would suggest just going to the dealer and try to find a patch or road that would do it there or take them to where you are expiriencing the shudder if you must.

ummmm now this I would recomment you checking into... the shudder, is beyond normal, its actually expected. And as for an explanation as to why our car creats this shutter wil others don't

I've replaced a few power steering pumps in my short years and NONE of them had a pulley as small as ours. No with the car idling at 800 rpms and being its a smaller pulley you are stressing the pump out a little bit. So yeah don't do it

Oh yeah, just so you know, its INCREDIBLY BAD to steer your car while sitting still, its bad on every joint in your front suspension. Your basically putting almost 600+ lbs of pressure on every steering component... I would hope that some of you who are much older than I would know this, then again going to mechanic school might teach me common sense
