Default wierd noise [Pics Included]

hey guys...
am back with some questions..
i just intalled eibach sportline springs on my 2005 xb which gave me about 2" drop all around.
Now whenever there is more than 2 people in my car, i hear some kind of wierd noise. something rubbing.... i have a custom muffler installed on my car too.. this noise started after i had that muffler installed.. but that time the noise came when there was 4 people in car... now after i dropped my car, i cant put more than one person in my car other than me.

Can anybody help me with what is going on here? where could be the rubbing noise comming from? i dont see anything rubbing. and the strange thing is that it happened after i installed my muffler.. now its worse...

please help me out here guys.. thanks a lot.

pics are added below.. enjoy

The first thing I would do is pull off the rear tires and check the tires first (most likely the insides). Look for areas that might have rub marks. Then examine the wheelwells for rubbing areas. Other than that I'm at a loss. Also check the bottom of the exhaust to check for dragging.

check all the plastic in your wheel wells, after my drop and wider wheels, in
reverse I would rub. It happened to me after I had went down a bumpy road.
I think the pastic inner wells are just tucked inside the corners of the body.
Mine had poped out.
It's worth a try.

is it a metal to metal rubbing or a plastic to metal or what.....

might wanna chack the springs, my advice, get two friends to sit in the back seat, and check to see if the coils on the srings are touching each other, and see if the powdercoating on the springs is coming off....

my friend with the same eibachs had the same prob.

hope that helps

but this noise was there even before i installed the springs. It just got worse after i installed the springs.. so u guys think its the prob with the springs? the only thing i could come up with was that .. there is a cross bar underneath the car on the way of exhaust to muffler. when i installed the mufffler the mechanic was listening to the rattling sound and he adjusted something there... do u guys think it can get worse if its dropped?
man am completely lost here.....

i had a stupid rattling sound in my car for about a 3 months and i had NO idea what is was, i tried tightening everything, i jacked up the car VARIOUS time, until i noticed where it was coming from. It was my muffler, my stupid muffler, it has a badge on it made of metal that says InVidia and one of the sides came loose so it was rattling against the muffler making a rattling sound going down to whole length of the exhaust. It might be something as stupid as this.

I have the same problem on a 2" drop with aftermarket exhaust. I guess I need to take it to a muffler shop now and have it adjusted. Good luck with your fix.
