Default What do I need to lower?

Hey guys I am in the process of buying new rims for the tC and then I am looking to lower it depending on how low it looks with the wheels on it. I am asking for you to help with good but cheap ways to lower and what I need to do it?

torch, cut, install!

nah jk. Check out the suspensing section. All the info you need and want. Springs is what you need to lower it. There's too many but my choice was Hotchkis. Check out my profile for pics. Never once regret the purchase!

The rims I am getting are 18x7.5 with a +45 offset. the tires are going to be 225/40/R18. What drop would work with this and not scrap or rub?

you should be fine with a 7.5" wide wheel with a 45 offset. it'll stick out just a hair farther than stock. you shouldn't rub on any drop with that offset.

coilovers(better and more expensive)

OR

Springs(Not nearly as good as coils, less expensive)

you would definately want to spring for some coils if you have the cash(no pun intended )
