How do you want the stance to be - Front lower than rear, rear lower than front, or even on both ends?

i would recommend TRD for daily use, and i heard that they are also good for autocross. combined with a good shock. i have TRD springs for sale too if you plan to go that route.

i don't know how the TRD shocks are cuz i'm on stock ones. but i bet they make a great combination.

i wood like my stance to be somewhat even front and back but low enough so that its noticable but not so low that i need a camber kit or wood rub (wheels are stock BTW) TRD IMO is ok but still looks stock

i have trd now with stock struts it was ok at first but i think the front sits a little to high so i plan on selling the TRDs and getting s techs and Tokico struts im hoping for a nice even low drop but not to low since i don't auto x, its my dd you might want to look in to this set

i was thinking of the TRD shock/strut route. If your looking for more than 1.5" drop in your ride, you might consider some other type of spring, TRD drops 1.25" and settles at 1.5", that was I hear on the forums.

-but none the less, i can't wait to get mine, just saving up some doh!

i would get tokico struts/shocks, they are well known is the suspension world and they are cheaper then TRD's. plus they are sold individually soo if you ever have to replace one you dont have to buy a whole other set.

Im sittin on H-techs and Tokico shocks/struts. The drop is better than TRD, and noticeable. I have 18"s on now and have no issue w/ rubbing at all. There are 2 reasons I went with Tokico. First, of the limited choices for shocks/struts that are available for our car they were the best priced. Second, the rears are sold individually. So if you blow one you dont have to buy a whole set. You can replace just the fronts, or just the backs. (you could replace just one of the backs if needed but i would stick with swapping them out in pairs.)

Ive had em on for 6-8 moths now and the ride and drop are great. Living in Chicago though I wish I woulda just got coilovers. It would be much nicer to be able to raise the height in the Winter with snow.

Im gonna post pics in a couple of weeks on the SCM thread. Im waitin for a good stretch of weather to do a full detail.

1. you will never rub on stock wheels.
2. you will not need camber links for 99% of the springs on the market for us.
springs :
for mild drops, trd, eibach, h&r
for moderate, h tech, hotchkis, h&r
to go any lower, s-techs, ground control sleeves
for shocks,
trd - reliable, pricey as hell
tokico - reliable, cheap alternate to trd.
koni - reliable, adjustable dampening, a pita to install, pricey as hell.
imo i'd do hotchkis + tokico. or just dish out an extra hundred of dollars to get tein basics.
