Default why is this so cheap?

i found this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STRUT...33162354QQrdZ1

how would this be different than buying a TRD one, except the trusted brand name ?
in no way would i ever buy it and slap it on my car, just wondering why such a big price difference ?

because it is made out of recycled soda cans and still does nothing. don't waste money on strut tower brace and don't buy generic cheap crap off ebay.

strut tower brace is a waste of money, i have one, doesn't do a damn thing except look cool when i open the hood. if you really want to stiffen up the front and rear, get the hotchkis front and rear set. i had the trd sway bar, and then got hotchkis, it was two times beyond what the trd sway bar was to the stock sway bar.

www.trdsparks.com, www.dezod.com, www.zpiracing.net, www.mcgeorgeparts.com all good sights with a variety of intakes between for you to choose from. just don't get the k&n cai, had it, it was awful, tranmission support mount kept breaking on it.

i had one of the cheap ebay strut bars on my old car. It looked ok, but after a few months the bar started twisting and bending. When i finally took it off after about a year it had an arch to it instead of being a straight bar. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

yea thats a waste of money buying e-bay stuff. strut bars do add performance but it is minimal, go for other stuff first like lowring springs/ coilover system, sway bars then go with the struts if you want.
