Big brakes don't always equal better braking.

I'm using drilled/slotted OEM sized rotors with OEM brake pads and the OEM brake lines and i felt the diference not much but surely there was a diference.

BBK is for show IMO, yeah they may improve lil bit of performance, but I think changing to better brake pad will be better.

In order to notice the improvment, you have to USE the bbk. I mean for an extended period, such that they're hot for a long time, such as at a track. That's when you'll notice the difference, when stock brakes begin to fade, the bbk won't.

BBK may not stop shorter than stock when cold, but certainly will when they're both exceptionally hot.

What pads and what tires? Those two things will make the biggest difference in braking power.

your tires are a bigger aspect ratio than they are supposed to be you should be using a 235/40-17 (i think thats the size). using larger tires will increase you braking distance. bbk are for track use. they are for better heat disapation more than anything else. try braking from 100 mph 15 times in a row with regular brakes then with bbk and tell us if you notice a difference haha.

i feel a big difference with the brakes. maybe its because i wasnt able to stop well with the big wheels that i have. but after the brake kit i felt a big difference.

I noticed one heck of a difference, You would have to be numb to not notice anything especially with grippy tires. If you have any moles on your face, come for a ride my my tC, bet they will be stuck on the windsheild in a hurry haha.

Lets see some pics of your wilwood kit on your car

I'd really only think about getting a bbk if I was driving on seriously soft tires. Other wise its a waste. 615's, Rs2's, Re01r's and if your mad baller then some Toyo R888's.

Driving with a bbk while rolling on the all seasons is like adding 2+(-2)

I finally installed my Wilwood BBK... no difference during normal street driving.

However... punch it up to 90+ mph and pray you don't have any loose items under hard braking. Like others have said: BBKs are a total waste if you don't have sticky tires. And I will continue to say you don't need BBKs unless you track your car. I did a "Stage 2" upgrade on my brakes last year and it was a great improvement on the street... until I did a track day last year and had to step up.

The specs:

Lolipop Blue Wilwood 4-piston BBK
Wilwood GT-series slotted rotors
Carbotech AX6 (Front)
Carbotech XP8 (Rear)
Stainless lines all around
Motul RBF600 fluid
Falken Azenis RT-615

Agreed, I run almost the exact same setup as you, same tires and all except I run powerslot rears.
