Also, I'm very happy with my kit. These brakes are great give me a new level of confidence with all other suspension mods...I feel like I'm driving a different car.

I know I'm thread jacking like a fiend but has anyone just bought a set of the stoptech st-22s and put them on the back? (st-22s are stoptech's two piston calipers) an sl search for sl-22 yields this many results: 0.

 

actually the reason I ask is because it appears that on troy's car (yes I am obsessed with this car now) he has the wilwood kit in the rear as well:

How do you its a wilwood....I cant see it in this pictures....Alsom when you are troy from 5axxis anything you want is possible.

 

Actually, the Five Axis tC uses a custom StopTech BBK using ST-22 calipers. If you want a Wilwood rear BBK for the tC, Wilwood decided not to produce one because they are detrimental to brake performance. However, if you absolutely want a Wilwood rear BBK, they recommend you visit FastBrakes.com; they are a direct Wilwood dealer that has made a one-off BBK for the tC.

2fast are you sure? they look exactly like wilwood's in the pic; they have softer, rounder lines than the stoptechs. I can't find a spec sheet on the car.

 

No...those are for sure stoptech..because fixe axxis would only use parts that are sold through Toyota or TRD

 

I'm very sure, I've seen that tC up close at least a dozen times. But if you have any questions, Troy from Five Axis answers his email regularly.

Not exactly... that tC has a Greddy turbo kit, a custom StopTech rear BBK (not offered by TRD), and TEIN coilovers IIRC. The xB2 and xD show cars have TEIN coilovers and Ray's wheels as well.

do the wilwoods clear the stock wheels

i asked that question before and people said that bbks dont clear stock rims unless you have spacers

 

i've seen rotora bbk's clear stock wheels before
