Just wondering what you guys think.

I have TRD springs on it right now. I have a set of snows on steelies for winter.

Do you think its worth the added 1" or so ground clearance for the snowy season or you think it would really not make that much of a differnece considering the price of getting the springs swapped twice.

Not worth the hassle at all IMO. Especially with the TRD drop (which is pretty much the least).

 

Not worth it because you can break even reparing the cars problems in the spring time with the money you charged to plow the streets with the TRD plow system. :D

 

I tried to plow the driveway this past winter...

 

P.S You wanna make some good money. Get hotchkiss lowering springs, winter tires, and a Kaminari front. That'l blow some skirts!


I'm just teasing. Take em off if you can because you don't want to take any chances. Anything could happen, better to be safe than sorry.

 

yeah, seriously not worth it, i got my trd springs and struts installed just before the last snow of the season and i did just fine.

lol. FWD cars are horrible for winter driving.

 

Well FWD isn't so bad... just not great with 6-8" of snow.

 

yeah, trust me, my tc handles the snow better than my grandpa's v8 dakota 4x2. driving in that in the snow was such a pain.

and ya i prefer FWD in the snow as well, even tho its not really as much "fun"

 

i put my hotchkis springs on right before the first snow this year. but now that i have the rs-1 lip on the front i do plan to take that off before the snow falls.
