ill tell you what they had to say because i called and asked kenny. he said that all racecars have their transmissions solid mounted. he said that the more a transmission torques back the more stress is put on the drivetrain and components inside the tranny.. im just quoting so dont flame me for this, i honestly dont know. q has his and he has mine but we havnt installed them yet.
Oh ok, thanks for the info pollup. I want it, but I dont want to cause much more stress for the tranny (a little more is fine by me if it reduces wheel hop but I will have to think more about it) Maybe I will just use it for times I am racing and not for DD.

bcnu_702 ordered one. He's here in Vegas and has the zpi stage 0 and basically upgraded to a stage 1. He hasn't gotten it yet (hasn't gotten his MAF for an '07 yet either!) but it will be on his daily driver. He comes to the meets.

BlKtC05:
I actually have the speed source motor mounts in mine (well, the front at least!) and bcnu_702 will have the ZPI limiter soon. He's got the ZPI kit and my TT kit will be in this weekend before VIP. If you come to one of the meets after he gets his, you can compare and contrast the two to see which would be best for your SC setup.

Man I really want to order one of these. Most of you who have one are saying it's a good purchase, minus a little noise/vibration. I am still a rookie at this though and I need that DIY picture book..... with popups if you could, oh I like popup books!

Took me a while to get mine too. patience sir. if your not going to the race track anytime soon, then your not missing out on anything. i might even take mine off and just re install it for the track. just make sure u give ur car enough gas out of 1st gear.

So is the vibration with it constant? Or just at certain RPMs?

I have the speed source engine mounts, and at idle under 1k, it vibrates pretty bad. Nothing that a pair of 10" infinities won't cover up! but reving past 1K feels just like stock. Up till about 5k or so, then I just feel the engine a little more, but not really vibrations.
Neither are annoying, not to me at least.

I think the transmissions that he is talking about may be just a tad more solid than ours. I don't know about the longevity of the tranny with this thing... I'd only use it to race...

you have to attach the bar to the tranny, then make it straight to the subfram. tap it into place and drill your holes. takes 10 minutes

thats becaue the limiter pulles the tranny forward a tiny bit. you will have to get a friend and pull it up in place
