^^
Are you on TRD Springs/Struts/Shocks? What size tire are you running? I'm looking at the DPT's in 18X9.5 but am not a big fan of the stretched look and would like to go wider than the standard 225/40/18 I see everyone using.

Oh, nice car BTW!

you cant go w/ a wider tire unless you have coilovers. the tire will hit the strut

That's not true. There are people running 255/35 on a 9.5" wheel.

I don't have my wheels anymore but a 255/35 should have fit with the OEM struts. I'm going off memory but the top of the wheel was nearly level with the spring seat which is the widest part of the strut. The tire would have been above it so it shouldn't have touched the spring since it's narrower than the seat. I could be wrong though.

Well I have till Saturday to figure out. I just spoke to a spec wheels and they said 235/35/18 or I can go with 245/35/18 but would have to roll the fenders.

You'll definitely need to roll the fenders for >225. I found some pics of a guy with 245/35 on 18x10 +30 and S-techs. These have less clearance than 9.5s on the inside (1mm according to the offset calculator).

You should check this thread, theres a guy on there with Varrstoens. His specs should answer your question, but i dont beleive he is running Htechs. You can always try it without rolling, if worst comes to worst you roll em lol

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...38292&page=317

But from talking to my friend, you might have to roll em, its a pretty wide set of rims there.
