Hey Skittles, what size tires are you running on the 18x9.5 +38? And you wouldn't happen to have a pic of your wheel directly from the back would you? I wanna see if they angle hard with 9.5s.

Owner: Jeremy (Dilirious on scionlife)
Car: 05′ Scion TC
Wheels: Rota T2R 18×9.5 +38 Flat Black/White (20mm spacer)
Tire Spec: 235/40/18 Toyo Proxes 4
Suspension: Raceland Coilovers
Scionlife Thread: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...88#post3889088
First off, we would like to thank Jeremy for driving all the way down from Sac to do this shoot for us. We got a chance to throw a set of the new T2R in Flat Black and White on his extremely clean and flush TC.
Keep in mind that he’s running a +20mm spacer all around bringing it down to a 18×9.5 +18 offset. These will be a moderate fit without the spacers and will just require a rear fender roll with a 235/40/18 tire.

I was running 215/40/18's for the first 3-4 months, then I switched to the 235/40/18's....Had to raise the car slightly to allow the tires to not rub...I removed a portion of the front wheel well liner and then flattened out the top edges of the fenders on the fronts...Rolled the rear fenders flat and shaved off that black plastic piece that sticks out where the quarter and top bumper meets...Fits perfectly..That was all done to fit the 235/40/18's and be low low btw

They look so bada** with the 215/40/18's. They appear to angle hard in the rear. Just an illusion tho. Loweer you go, more angled they will look of course

Rear fenders were rolled by Adrian of www.fendarolla.com. Minor rubbing on hard bumps and hardcore rubbing with rear passengers.

I'll get a profile pic up sometime this week.

I love this set up. Where are you rubbing and is there any way to avoid it?

Dusting this one off... i need some help.

Has anyone been able to run 245 wide tires on the Rota Grid without clearance issues?

... I have a set of Torques for race days they are 17X8. i got them used off the web so i don't have full specs. I run them with 235 wide in them.
