19 or 18 inch?
Id say go with 18s..
18's + S-techs > 19's + trd springs
thats just my oppinion
HOWEVER!!!
there are def exceptions! like WDS's tC...bc he def is pulling it off...ive seen some others too though
but what rims are u looking at to buy? figure that out first

Looked pretty clean in my opinion.

Although I'm a bit biased.
Running 19x7.5 et 42 215/35/19 ... the only rubbing issue I have is when I hit a dip in the road going fast, my fronts rub a bit on the inner plastic lining. No biggy IMO. Otherwise, I don't have any rubbing issues.
Just get the right offset and 19s will be fine.
Hell theres a guy on SL, don't know the name off the top of my head, but he's from Arizona that is running 20s on S-techs and he has no issues either.

I have 18s with TRD Springs. I guess it all depends on what you want to do with your car. Do you want it for 'show'? Or do you want it for 'performance'? Lots of peeps will say not to go past 18s if you're going the 'performance' route. (Most will say stick with 17s.) I went with 18s because my tC is a daily driver and I don't plan to SC/Turbo it. Here's a pic...

Also, TRD Springs won't wear out your shocks as quickly as some other Springs will. I don't rub either. (And we have some pretty crappy roads here.) The stats on my set-up is 18" 5Zigens RX-6 +35 w/Pirelli PZero Nero M+S 225/40s. I think its swell!

Ive done both.......originally i had axis sevenmods and they were heavy and casued some noticable lag and issues when i braked (sloppy) i switched to 18's due those issues. 19's look good.... however my recomendation is if you go 19"s at least upgrade your brakes.
Check my profile i think i have pics of both set ups.
also total rotating mass is about 50-55 pounds including tires and air.......that is almost twice what i have now (18's)
Unless you spend some money and get some forged or other lightweight wheel in a 19" fittiment you will have some performance loss.

I am thinking going with these:
19" TSW Black Montages:

On a Super White tC:

Credits go to Jester28 for the white tC.
I would get 19s and go with H-Techs as I have read they are perfect and safe for 19s for no rubbing.
