Okay I am running 19x8 wheels on my tC with a road magnet drop which seems to be similar to sportlines. Well with running 225-35-19's I rub on the fender liner and I can't put the car into any turns or anything like that. Does anyone else have these issues?

 

It is kind of what happens when you lower the car and put rims on with a lower offset, especially 19s. Either take out the fender liners or live with it

 

OR get 17 or 18 inch wheels... they look better anyways

 

take out the liners its not that hard just pop a couple clips

 

You can't be rubbing that bad. I'm runnin 18x9.5 +35 with 245/35/18 tires and really low.

 

whats your wheel gap? if you have 1-2 fingers worth and youre still rubbing, then your springs are really flimsy. you'll need to upgrade to stiffer springs and shocks.

 

i doubt you still have your liners in...or do you O.O

Im running 19x8.5 +35 with 235/35/19(I know tire is too big...) and im lowered on TRDs. My fenderliner got damaged so I just took em off...

 

I'm not gonna remove the liners, I have my wheels up forsale and am gonna buy the same wheel in 17" and run 215 45's on them. I have holes worn in the liners from rubbing, it's right near the bumper/fender seem.

 

If your not rubbing your doing something wrOng haha

I thought my car was low but one day i realized.. "how is this low if i never rub or scrape on anything?" So i had to lower it more until it rubbed.

 

Thats like saying "I havent completely degraded my handling to a point where it handles worse than a dump truck.. so I havent lowered enough"

 

not everyone cares about handling. some prefer the looks of being extremely low.

No, but I would hope that people would not want the car to be 100% unpredictable in an emergency situation.. which a car slammed like that will be. I guess if they just cruise at 30 mph down city streets....
