Its time for me to get a new set of tires. I loved my Nitto Neogens so I'm gonna go ahead and stay with those. Heres my question. I noticed that on Discounttiredirect the 215s are 11 bucks cheaper then the 225s, in the end saving me a descent amount of money. Right now I'm rockin the 225s and I absolutely love them. Will goin down to the 215s be much of a difference(performance and looks wise)? My rims are 17x7.5.

 

7.5" wheels and you should probably stick with the 225s. The 215s might appear a tiny bit stretched.

yeah but i like that. I hate the way the stockies look with the tires on. I got 225/45s on right now and i love them.

im more concerned with really. That's what im waiting for before I make my decision. Would 225s be sticker or would it be so insignificant of a difference that I wouldn't notice.

 

well from my experience with both tires i feel that the 225's definitely grip better, but look horrid IMO but the grip is definitely there.

 

yeah that's what i thought. hmmmm. How about sidewall. Should i go with 40 or 45?
I think im leaning towards the 215w. Ill wait for a few more opinions tho.

 

225's put more rubber on the road and fit fine on stock sized rims. Stick with them.
