Default 5-zigen fn01r-c...two different styles???

Im interested in getting these rims, but I don't want to order the wrong ones cuz I noticed that there are two different styles of these rims.

The style that I want is this style:

And this is the other style that i've seen when looking for the wheels I want:

You can see a BIG difference in the styling of these two wheels. You can notice that in the 1st pic. the center is kind of pushed in (which is what attracted me to these wheels), and in the 3rd pic. it looks all stright. Can anybody tell me if the wheels that I want are named differently than the ones that I don't want??

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanx in advance!!!

The wheels are exactly the same. I just think the ones picture have different offsets than each other. That is why one lookes more inset than the other.

I think the finish on the wheels has something to do with it too.

they are both the FN10R-C.. however like stated above it is the width and offset that determines teh shape.

unfortunately, you wont be getting that pushed in look with the tC.. that is most common for a 9inch wheel running 15-30 offset

yea, it's just a different offset, that first one is a whole different kind of beast than we should be messing with

the ones he wants are +48 offset, they'd be 3mm more sunken in than stock ;)

ya.. not only that, but they are the same size. that would be pointless, at least go wider so you can fit a larger tire

17x8 will do you some good. I'm looking at the 18x8.5s myself.

17x8 +48 offset will fill out the wheel wells a little bit better.... but you need some wider rubber (245's! You'll love the handling increase).

A 17X8 wheel does NOT require a 245 tire.
I have 17X8 Dunlop CP-R with 235 series tires and they are more than enough..
BTW 17X8 +48 is not going to get you the concave face/spokes you are looking for.

You have to remember; it's WIDTH + OFFSET not just offset that determines the "shape" of your face/spokes.

^^^ The question is why would you buy a 235 in any event? Selection of rubber in that width is about half of what's available in 245.
