Default 5Zigen FN01R-C Fitment

This is likely to be my last post on the wheel topics I've been throwing around. I'm down to these as my choice for wheels but would like to hear what some of you have to say as far as whether or not they will fit.

!.) 17x8" +48 offset with 245/40/17

2.) 18x8.5" +48 with 245/35/18

I'd like to stay with an 18" rim just because I'm still bios to the 18" look on the tC, the extra weight doesn't matter to much to me. I think the 17x8's will fit nice but I'm concerned with the 18x8.5. Will the 48mm be enough? I think I've read someone running a 17x8.5 Zigen Proracer with 245/40/17, won't the tire ride in the same position with an 18x8.5 on a 245/35/18 given the same offset??? Thanks for any help. I'm just looking for reasurance before paying an arm an a leg for these.

I think 245's with 18" wheels will rub.

I'll double check with the yoursciontc guys, I know some people are running some similar stuff.
