about to spend 1200 on these:

gold painted Jetta GLI bbs RC's with Bridgestone Potenza SO-3

should fit right? any probs? Recommendations? Price good?

i wouldnt pay more than a $1100 for those with decent tires and centercaps. those tires have nice grip, but are you looking to pay extra for that?
theyre 18x8 et38 right? it'll fit. you wont be able to find hub rings for them.

tires are pretty new, no center caps....so i shouldn't buy for more than 1100?

Gold painted... as in the owner painted them? If so, I wouldnt give much for the rims unless he had them professionally done, or you REALLY know the guy and his skill level at doing that type of work. The last thing you want is a set of flaking rims down the road.

The tires run about $200/each new if I recall correctly . So include wear into the equation on those.

The stock MK4 GLI wheels were18"x7.5"... (minor detail.)

For $1200, I would look for a set w/ the BBS centercaps.

professionally painted, no center caps, tires with only 500 miles on em. they are real BBS..just OEM VW wheels

i wouldnt pay more then 400 for that... for 1200 u can buy something alot nicer.. and brand new!
