was your car painted underneath the foam trim? my car wasnt. so when the foam fell off, i saw bare metal. the car want not painted before Scion/Toyota applied that trim. thats what i meant by cracked paint.


they are special ordered from japan. i bought them used from a guy who had them on his VW Jetta. it took him 7 months to get. you can still order them from gruppe-s.com or any shop that has connections in japan.

SSR still makes wheels. they are now owned by Tanabe.

yes....mine was painted underneath, I too have a little flare in the fender now, but its the price you have to pay to look so damn sexy! Mine still rub on the wheel well. And ive tried everything, even the dremel. As soon as i ever buy a digital camera ill post some pics

I've had mine since July '06 and have turned back (although I did have to get a different tire size for the back).
