Default Brakes humm a little when braking, 30,000 miles..

Hey I'm not much of a car guy but when i brake I hear a hummm and im not sure whats up. Whats the best way of knowing whats wrong? taking off the wheel and seeing if there is soemthing wrong with the brake?

brakes for the tC in general are pretty bad. upgrading would be ideal~

as for the humming i can't say i've heard such a thing. best thing to do is take it to a shop and have them look at it to see the % of brake pads you have left and see from there.
good luck!
