alright well i've been thinking of doing this to my wheels for a while now, i had a buddy p-shop it and i was somewhat dissapointed with how it looked, i think its a bit too dark, im just looking for some input here. The pics were stolen from DavedavetC, hope you don't mind bro, i wanted to do it with the hotchkis drop cus thats what im changing too, alright here they are, dont be too harsh

Maybe with FM you should try Gun Metal?
That might look good. I have a BSP and was gonna do bronze.
If your gonna stay stock dont do the red lugs. It has no contrast whatsoever.

 

id ditch the red lugs, doesnt seem to match at all. im a big fan of bronze on pretty much any car. for yours i think a little darker bronze would do the trick.

 

yeh i was thinking gun metal but its been done, u dont see to many bronze on FMs, plus if u do gun metal its going to blend with the car too much i want some contrast, thanks for the opinion though

should i have black lugs rather ten gold..or just keep with the theme and get bronze lugs too

 

keep the lugs the same color...dont paint them, cuz if you ever need to take your wheels off, which you will..the paint will come off

 

naw i'm not going to paint them, i might get Rays colored lugs

 

bronze doesnt look too bad, imo. heres the regular pic with the wheels in gumetal. im redoin all the wheels either tomorrow or tuesday (gunmetal again) just to get rid of the chipping.

keep the lugs the same as the rim. makes it look A LOT cleaner

 

i'm actually planning to powdercoat my stockies gold color, like the volks.. I was quoted 400+, yikes. Let me know if you find cheaper.

Paint them a dark matte bronze and it'll look good.

but yeah darker bronze looks sweet. i saw a tC the other day running around portland with dark bronze stocks and it looked pretty sweet. i vote dark bronze

 

there's a FM with OEM Bronze wheels here in Orlando.
looks good. gold/bronze on a FM, BSP or RS1 only though.
