ah man.
Does anyone have like a write-up on how to paint the stock rims? so that they dont chip and wear easily and also look really good.

 

clean, sand, clean again, sand again (with finer sand paper) to get rid of any grooves, clean again, dry off, paint first layer of paint (light coats)(or primer if going to prime it), let dry, do a second light coat, let dry, use fine sandpaper (really really fine so you dont strip the paint you just put on) to get rid of any grooves you missed before or any paint drips, clean again, dry it, paint again to desired color/darkness (probably like 3-4 coats), then clear (like 3 coats or somethin like that), its an all day thing. also if you have one i suggest a small space heater to quicken things up (if you live in colder areas like myself, but it shouldnt be a problem for you cuz your in tampa)

cool. just take your time man. i cant stress it enough. the more time you take and the slower you go, the better chance for a satisfying end product

 

oh I definately will take my time.
I never half-a$$ anything.
Especially if it involves my car.

 

It seems it' more gold than bronze. I'll go with Gunmetal or Hyperblack.

 

i wish there was a hyperblack spraypaint haha i would be all over that like flys on poop
