cleaning rims
ok since i now have aftermarket rims compared to the stocks, should i use a specialty cleaner on them? of am i able to still use the same rim cleaner from meguirs that i've been using ( hot rims or something like that) yea i knew newb type question, but after spending the money wanna make sure i use the right stuff

honestly rinse off all the dirt first you don't want you carving in awesome scratches with dirt. secondly i use a new microfiber for every wheel, i'll go through 30-40 microfibers at a show so i'm probably a bit extreme but the most important thing with them is clean them every week. i used to clean mine every other day. basically just proper maintenance will do the job, if you don't like spending all the money for the meguires stuff go for just some awesome glass cleaner. that stuff works great as well

thanks nebster, i'll prob start using glas cleaner once this bottle is up ( only reason i have it was a huge box of all meguiars cleaning and detailing stuff in a box for $15 at wally world)

nope, that's why it sucked going to the libertyville show and not finding a do it yourself car wash lol. oh well i'll try the window cleaner on em after my hotrims cleaner is out and try claybaring my car
