Default correct wheel offset

so I want to get some new rims 5zigen of course. fn01r-c

will these fit?

18x8.5
5x100
+48
225/40/18

17x8
5x100
+48
235/40/17

17x8
5x100
+35
235/40/17


car ison progress springs.will I rub?I want to go with 17s



sincw rim is wider and tire is wider, does the offset go up or down?

the middle choice should be fine right?

the 2nd choice should be fine.

for a guide on rims, tires and what offset to use. should give you a general idea of what is safe.

also, you can use http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp to check clearance.
