Just throwing this put there, but I "might" want to trade someone for my 18" SBC RPF1s. I miss having 17s.

 

its another 2 months, i've been waiting since january 5th... ____in me off how everytime we get an update the eta gets pushed back. the bend really isnt that bad at all, i just dont wanna get a new tire for it if i am only gonna be riding around on stockies for a few more weeks. half of me wants to wait because they are gonna look amazing, but the other half of me wants to say screw it and get something else.

how much you looking to get for your 18's?

 

^ Not sure yet. I have two sets of tires so selling isn't in my best interest. I just want to be lower.

 

yeah thats another reason why i want to stick with these, plus federal ss595's for 45 bucks a piece is dirt cheap. i havnt really been able to find another set of wheels i want anyways, trying to stay away from rota's and other reps.

 

Yeah. I mean I know it sucks to wait as long as you have been, but you'll have legit-a** wheels when all is done. No one will have these in 5x100. They're going to look right on the tC. I had an issue with my 18s but after everything - totally worth it.

 

sooo true, i know they will look amazing, and hopefully ill be getting better gas mileage since they are like 16 pounds, still gotta wait and see if my stock wheel still holds air with a new tire on it, hopefully i can make it to a tire shop tomorrow or monday.

 

i see...why dont you just buy 1 used tire for the 2 months..actually i might still have one of my oem tires, if i find them i could sell it to you for cheap cheap lol.(or maybe i shouldnt encourage you to keep your 17's only set is sjsu! lol jk)

 

Oh man I missed the update... May 26th now? I guess that's not terrible seeing that my DD just got stolen and I had to buy new tires for my oem tC wheels so I can drive it without worrying about blowing a tire.

 

f Mann ! i was hoping i had these wheels by april so they can be on my car for the biggest car meet of the year on may 1st. if i wouldve known it was gonna take this long i would've never put a deposit down

 

lol i got a tire tonight from someone on craigslist, now my oem wheels have a different tire on all 4 corners. LOL! i will be keeping the rpf1's now even though i am still ____ED that its 2 months from now, i wanted them to be on for the YB meet in may, annnd i wanted to have an excuse to lower my car more! ahaha

 

im just so blown....im the only one without wheels out of my group now for the anual car event....anybody want to take my spot and pay me the deposit that i paid?

Well, last time I checked I was not god nor can control natural disasters or production lead times on an external company. Believe me, I did not want to hear that news either. Patience will be rewarded to you. Believe me, these wheels will be worth the wait for sure.
